The *Stainless Steel Vacuum Travel Flask* is a group standard (No. T/CNSAIA 001-2020) implemented by the China National Household Articles Industry Association on June 8, 2020. Drafted jointly by Zhejiang Haers Vacuum Containers Co., Ltd. and 16 other entities, this standard fills a gap in technical specifications within the field of stainless steel vacuum cups and flasks designed for outdoor travel.
The standard stipulates a minimum product capacity of 750 milliliters and explicitly mandates the use of stainless steel with a grade no lower than 06Cr19Ni10. Furthermore, it introduces-for the first time-technical requirements such as "opening and closing force of the switch mechanism" and "durability of the switch mechanism," while also establishing core performance indicators covering thermal insulation, impact resistance, and handle mounting strength. As the inaugural group standard issued by the China National Household Articles Industry Association, its formulation drew upon international standards such as the EU's EN 12546-1:2000 and Japan's JIS S 2006-2016, thereby establishing a novel standard system tailored specifically to outdoor travel scenarios.
