Technical Innovation
The standard introduces, for the first time, a "Switch Mechanism Durability Test" method to address the issue of wear and tear on moving parts during outdoor use. Compared to traditional standards for thermal cups and flasks, this standard adds new testing parameters-such as coating adhesion and strap/handle strength-while also establishing stricter impact resistance criteria to meet the demands of rugged outdoor environments. A minimum capacity threshold of 750 milliliters has been established to clearly distinguish between the capacity requirements of everyday thermal cups and those of specialized travel flasks.
Inspection Rules
The inspection regime comprises two categories: Factory Inspection and Type Inspection. Type Inspection covers all technical requirements and must be conducted whenever there is a change in design or manufacturing process, or when production resumes following a suspension of six months or longer. In the event of a product inspection failure, rework and re-inspection are permitted; however, any specific defect may undergo re-inspection only once.
